Sonic The Hedgehog
Species: Hedgehog Color: Blue Eye Color: Green Age: 15 Gender: Male Likes: Running, his friends, chili dogs, and saveing the world Dislikes: Eggman and being slowed or tied down The fastest of the fast blue hedgehog himself. This blue blur loves nothing more than running, saving the world, and chili dogs (in certain universes like SatAM). He, along with some of his friends, reside in Station Square, though this hog isn't always in one place for very long. He has a pure heart of gold and will always protect his friends and anyone else from Dr. Eggman no matter what schemes the cracked egg comes up with. First appearence in Sonic The Hedgehog

Miles "Tails" Prower
Species: Kitsune (fox with multiple tails) Color: Orange Eye Color: Blue Age: 10 (or 8, depending on the game/universe) Gender: Male Likes: Building, flying, Sonic, his friends Dislikes: Being misjudged and Eggman Tails is a two tailed fox who has a nack for building things. He and Sonic have been best friends since anyone could remember. Often wherever Sonic is you can always expect Tails to be nearby to lend a helping hand. Tails can normally be found in his workshop located in the Mystic Ruins building many gadgets and planes to aid Sonic on his many adventures. First appearence in Sonic The Hedgehog 2

Knuckles The Echidna
Species: Echidna Color: Red Eye Color: Purple Age: 16 Gender: Male Likes: Guarding the Master Emerald, Angel Island Dislikes: Being tricked, the Master emerald being stolen, Eggman Knuckles is the appointed Guardian of the Master Emerald, located on the floating Angel Island. He is known for his stubborness and extreme gullibility, which often leads him into falling for Eggman's trickery(followed shortly upon realization by a sarcastic remark from Sonic). He and Sonic were once heated rivals but now they are friends, although at times they do revert back to rivals. The crest around his neck is supposedly a symbol of his guardianship. As far as we know, Knuckles is the only remaining guardian. First appearence in Sonic The Hedgehog 3

Amy Rose
Species: Hedgehog Color: Pink Eye Color: Green Age: 12 Gender: Female Likes: Sonic, shoping, chasing Sonic Dislikes: Being underestimated and when Sonic runs away from her Amy is a preppy girl who is totally in love with Sonic. She first met Sonic when she was being held hostage by Metal Sonic. Usually wherever Sonic is you can expect to see Amy somewhere nearby. Although Amy may appear to be self-centered and over-protective(she gets angry if other girls are looking for Sonic) she is a caring person and is very strong when given the chance. Her main weapon of choice is her Piko-Piko Hammer which she always carries with her. Though Sonic may not show he cares for Amy a lot, there have been times when he has shown a lot of caring towards the pink hedgehog. First appearence in Sonic CD

Shadow The Hedgehog
Species: Hedgehog Color: Black and Red Eye Color: Amber/Red Age: 50+ Gender: Male Likes: Unknown, barely shows emotion Dislikes: Being proclaimed as a faker, Sonic, the government, and many other things Shadow's story is a bit of a sad one. He was created on the Space Colony ARK as the Ultimate Lifeform. He was created by the famous scientist Prof. Gerald Robotnik, Eggman's grandfather. His one and only friend was his other granddaughter, Maria Robotnik. One day G.U.N soldiers stormed the ARK and arrested Gerald and his collegues. Shadow and Maria ran to try to save themselves but only Shadow was saved. Maria was killed by a G.U.N soldier, but before she died she had Shadow promise her one thing..."Give the people of Earth a chance to be happy." then the capsule he was in was ejected from the colony and flew towards the Earth. Shadow has the power to bend space and time with his Chaos control move which allows him to stop time and move even faster than Sonic! He and Sonic are enemies and they each see the other as the "faker" of each other. First appearence in Sonic Adventure 2

Rouge The Bat
Species: Bat Color: White Eye Color: Aqua Age: 19 Gender: Female Likes: Jewels, Knuckles, stealing, Shadow (in a friendly/brotherly sorta way) Dislikes: Jewels being stolen from her, not getting what she wants Rouge is a top secret agent for the President and G.U.N who absolutely loves jewels. The jewel she desires most is the Master Emerald. She has a hot temper and doesn't stand for anyone standing in her way. It has been hinted at on occasion that she may perhaps hold some feeling for Knuckles. First appearence in Sonic Adventure 2
